The hormone that tells your body when it is time to sleep and dream about your adventures is called melatonin. This hormone is produced by your body. Contrary to popular beliefs melatonin itself won’t knock you out. However, it will help you fall asleep easier.

However, the latest research shows that these processes are actually effective and help you fall asleep. Additionally, the same research confirmed that the quality of sleep is better.
